“True belonging doesn’t require you to change who you are; it requires you to be who you are.”

What is Group Therapy
In group therapy, the relationships that form within the group become part of the therapeutic work itself. As members interact, patterns in how they relate to others naturally emerge — and with the guidance of a therapist, those patterns can be explored, understood, and shifted. Many people find that the insights they gain in group carry into their everyday relationships in ways that individual therapy alone cannot replicate.
Therapy Group VS Support Group
Led by trained clinicians: Therapy groups are facilitated by licensed mental health professionals and use an intentional clinical framework; support groups are often peer-led or led by facilitators without providing psychotherapy.
Treatment-focused: Therapy groups have a clearer therapeutic aim and may include screening to ensure fit and safety; support groups typically emphasize mutual encouragement and shared experience.
Structured boundaries: Therapy groups have defined expectations around confidentiality, attendance, and group agreements; support groups are often more flexible or drop-in.
Depth of work: Therapy groups often explore patterns, emotions, and relational dynamics more deeply and intentionally, while support groups may focus more on sharing and validation.
